What is a Container Unpack?
A container unpack (devanning) is the controlled unloading of cargo from an FCL container into a managed workflow so the freight can be:
tallied and reconciled,
checked and reported for exceptions, and
prepared for storage or dispatch based on your instructions.
This is not “labour hire”. It’s an operation with accountability.

You send container number, ETA, commodity, paperwork requirements, and required outcomes (tally, sort, palletise, storage, dispatch).
Receipt and container positioning
The container is positioned and opened safely. We confirm the plan before the freight is moved.
Unpack with controlled handling
Freight is unloaded with appropriate equipment and handling methods to reduce damage risk.
Tally and exception capture
Counts are checked and any issues are recorded: shortages/overages, damage, load shift, labelling problems.
Reporting and next steps
You receive clear outcomes and we execute the next step: storage, segregation, repack, or dispatch as instructed.
